St. Andrews 5-Day Discipleship Training Week
Tentative Schedule
Purpose: to train and prepare ourselves and others to care for the worldwide golf
community in the name of Jesus.
Objectives:
1. To know God more fully and His mission
2. To know yourself and who you are
3. Build life-long relationships with like-minded friends in the global golfing
community
4. Specific plan going forward for ministry/calling
5. Learn what it means to train yourself towards godliness
Curriculum includes:
1. Develop a God-centered worldview and understand how this encompasses the
golfing world
2. Relationship & Hearing the Voice of God
3. Understanding the Scriptures- Meditation, Lectio, “lenses”
4. Introduction to the Holy Spirit led life
5. Develop a plan for your golfing community (last day practical exercise to walk
away with)
6. Training yourself in Godliness- caring for your soul
7. Seeing and understanding the city of St. Andrews/Tom Morris/Tour of City
(walk and learn)
